Accounts Assistant

Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year

This well-established SME are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role will be offered on a hybrid working scheme and will suit someone who is looking to further their career in a varied role.

Accounts Assistant – About The Role

In this role you will be working within a team of 8 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be required to assist within many areas of accounts and the ideal candidate will be available at short notice. Your key responsibilities will be:

* Handling the purchase ledger function, including processing all purchase invoices.

* Preparing and issuing month end reports for aged creditors & debtors.

* Assisting in the preparation of various financial statement and reports.

* Handling nominal leger including journals and reconciliations.

* Assisting with Credit Control for a large range of suppliers.

* Liaising with multiple sites and handling any internal queries.

The successful Accounts Assistant will have

* Previous experience in a similar position

* Actively studying AAT or QBE candidates will be considered

* Good attention to detail
