Salary: £26,000 per year

37.5 hours per/ week
Trident Group has over 50 years’ experience of delivering homes, services and innovation for up to 8,000 people in over 3,400 homes in some of the most disadvantaged communities in the Midlands. It employs more than 850 staff, works with many volunteers and provides training places and apprenticeships as part of the employment package. The Group consists of;
* Trident Housing, which provides landlord services for the Group in respect of housing management and maintenance
* Trident Reach, which is a registered care and support charity providing services to those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, and those who have been victims of domestic abuse across all age groups across the Midlands.
About the role
We are looking to recruit for a Social Care Worker for our care homes throughout Birmingham. We are looking for someone to join our team in supporting customers who have learning disabilities, additional health, mobility and physical support needs.
The role is permanent opportunity covering a variety of shifts been a mixture of hours to include weekends and bank holidays and may change depending on service requirement.
About you
We are looking for highly motivated individual who would like to join our team in order to deliver good quality service to vulnerable adults. You will be responsible for looking after service users and supporting them with their daily requirements.
* Caring and sensitive Self-motivated
* A positive attitude around person centred approaches to working with individuals with learning disabilities and associated flexible & reliable
* Good communication Skills
* Experience of working within a busy care environment, including all aspects of care (e.g. personal care, manual handling, daily support)
* The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Confident in Lone working
* Competent administration of medication, recording relevant information accurately as directed.
