Babcock International are currently looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to provide effective management of production, including the supervision of manpower and allocation of work in an efficient and cost effective way.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead, inspire and motivate their team in order to achieve desired results. You do not need to have experience in a lean manufacturing company, however proven experience in a relevant automotive/engineering environment is key.

What will you be doing?
* Supervision of manpower and allocation of work in an efficient and cost effective way on a day to day basis
* Control and motivate staff to eliminate time wasting and to achieve maximum potential from production staff
* To ensure all products are to the highest standard to technical and customer requirements, and are ‘passed off’ before movement to other departments
* Work with other departments to improve quality, efficiency and processes
* Overtime working is monitored and only worked when required
* Timesheets are completed correctly and presented on time

The experience you’ll bring
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite
* Experience in leading people and managing tasks
* Experience in decision making in a fast paced environment
* Proven experience of working in a relevant automotive / engineering environment or NVQ level 2
* Working in a vehicle conversion environment
* Management within a fast paced Automotive / Production Environment
* Must have or have the ability to obtain SC security clearance
