Sales and Marketing Director – Warwickshire

Our client, a Marketing Agency based in Warwickshire, is currently recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Director to join their growing organisation on a permanent basis. The successful Sales and Marketing Director will have previous experience of mentoring Current Account Directors and training and nurturing Business Development Managers to achieve company financial objectives.

This is a rare and fantastic senior level vacancy within a growing and progressive organisation for a Sales and Marketing Director to come in and shape a lively team to achieve targets.

Key responsibilities for the Sales and Marketing Director:

– Hold overall responsibility over the client services side of the business
– Manage 2 Current Account Directors to achieve their financial target for next year
– Manage 2 Business Development Managers to achieve their financial target and to retain at least 50% of the accounts next year
– Take strategic approach to management and mentoring of these direct reports to help them achieve objectives
– Occasional travel to visit clients – new and existing – both within the UK (predominantly London) and across Europe when required

Key skills and experience for the Sales and Marketing Director:

– Proven ability to mentor Account Directors and Business Developers to increase their productivity
– Ideally you will have experience within a marketing agency
– Enthusiastic to make a difference within the department
– Flexible approach and able to make recommendations
