Job Title: Machine Operative

Location: Huddersfield

Shift Pattern: Double Days and Night shifts available

Salary: £26,000per year+ per year

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our Huddersfield client for experienced Machine Operatives to join their business on either the double day or night shift. Experience using CMC machinery would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To operate the assigned machine in accordance with the set procedures
• To know and understand the entire operational requirements for the assigned machine
• To be fully aware of all the procedures required to carry out the task set
• To be fully aware of the yield speed required for the task
• To be fully aware of the completion times/dates of the task
• To have full understanding of all the quality procedures required for the task
• If machine not running to optimum pack speed or optimum quality, highlight the problem to Team Leader
• To ensure good housekeeping around assigned machine at all times
• To work to achieve zero defects and waste reduction
• If required, flexibility to work within other Shopfloor Departments
• To understand and practice your responsibilities for the use of the ERP system at all times
• Ensure adequate communications are given to the next operator

• Awareness of Health and Safety requirements

• Experience using CMC machinery would be advantageous but not essential
