Machine / Production Operative

Are you interested in working for a leading automotive manufacturer? Our client, a tier one Nissan supplier, are currently seeking experienced and dedicated individuals to join their fast paced production team.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1 years experience within a similar manufacturing environment, preferably from an automotive background. We would be interested in someone who works effectively within a team, works well under pressure, works hard to meet strict production targets and has a very flexible approach to working hours, shifts and overtime.

The duties and responsibilities of the Machine Operating role will include:

* Operating machinery on a high speed production line
* Operating hydraulic presses
* Quality checking for any defects, labeling finished products
* Loading and unloading parts into the machinery
* Spot welding
* Working towards production targets
* Ensuring parts are allocated to the correct stillages
* Checking manufacturing parts manual
* General housekeeping duties as required

This position will be temporary ongoing with Baltic Recruitment Services, with the opportunity to gain a full time permanent contract with our client, so this is a great opportunity for the right individual.

Working hours / shift rotation:

Standard working hours are 39 per week, across a 3 shift rotation.

All applicants must have a flexible approach to working hours and overtime.

There is also the opportunity to do overtime after your shift or on a weekend to increase your monthly wage.
