Management Accountant

A leading Commercial Company based in West London are currently recruiting for two Senior Management Accountants on a permanent basis. You will be a Qualified or Finalist level Accountant and have experience in UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS within an international environment. If you are Big 4/TOp 4 trained this would be of a massive advantage.

Key responsibilities:

Responsible for recording transactions across the P&L and Balance Sheet
Supervise / prepare bank reconciliations
Manage the preparation of the monthly financial accounts – including all journals and adjustments and preparation of variance analyses
Authorisation of supplier payments and expenses
Management of the Balance Sheets for the Region and respective branches, including timely reconciliation of the key control accounts
Prepare management accounts and commentary showing a thorough understanding of revenue, direct costs, SG&A (including bad debt, debtors and creditors). Explain monthly results
Liaise with other Finance and operational colleagues to progress work and resolve problems
Support with other tasks, including the preparation of year end files for the annual audit and supporting systems/process developments within the Finance function
Preparation of the annual budget and forecasts in collaboration with FP&APerson Specification:

You will have a Recognised Accountancy Qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA), with highly tuned interpretative, and analytical skills
Expert in Sun and Excel

Willingness to help find efficiencies in current financial processes and improve the internal control environment
Experience of an incisive, proactive and highly disciplined finance function – used to tight deadlines
