Salary: £28,800 – £33,600 per year
Are you an experienced New Product Technologist? Or maybe you are qualified in a food related discipline and looking to take your career in a new direction?
We are recruiting for a new Product technologist to working in a fast paced food manufacturing plant.
The Role:
Reporting into the Technical Manager you will own and drive the process for all new products launches. You will be responsible for coordinating the New Product development through its development cycle to the product launch.
You will be expected to liaise with internal departments, suppliers and customers, meet launch deadlines and manage the technical aspects of all business trials.
You will also suggest process improvements to ensure products smooth production.
Your role will include completion of all required paperwork and documentation coupled with creating quality standards and overseeing sign off prior to launch.
There will also be an element of project work looking at cost reduction and improvements.
Requirements
Applicants will be qualified to Degree / HND level in a Food related discipline, OR you will have previous experience of New Product Development.
You will be able to demonstrate your understanding of the fundamentals of food processing.
You must be an innovative person with strong communication skills with a good systematic approach to problem solving.
Other:
The role is full time Monday – Friday.
Salary is £28,800 – £33,600depending on experience
