Architectural Technologist

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

Lead Careers are working with a fantastic Multi-Disciplinary Architectural Consultancy in London in search of an experienced Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist to join their growing team in a well paid and flexible and/or WFH basis.

They are heavily involved in the Commercial, Residential, Education and Retail sectors and this great opportunity will give you the chance to grow within your role and be an involved in a wide variety of schemes at all stages of design.

Role Responsibilities;

* Prepare and present detail design proposals using ArchiCAD

* Lead the Detailed design process and co-ordinate detailed design information

* Research problem detail design issues and advise upon innovative solutions

* Advise the Project Architects regarding the programming of deliverables

* Produce, analyse and advise upon specification, materials selection and detailed design solutions in relation to performance and production criteria

* Liaise with and produce information for statutory approval authorities

* Carry out design stage risk assessments

* Ensure continual compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements.

* Advise the Project Architect regarding the programming of deliverables

* Appraise the building performance in terms of use and maintenance

* Prepare and present As Built drawings using ArchiCAD

The right individual will ideally have the following skills and experience:

* Qualified and trained as an Architectural Technician, Technologist or Architect

* Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience in the UK

* Previous experience in Revit or AutoCAD

* Proven track record in delivering technical packages

* Strong communication and inter-personal skills

* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards

* Experience of the RIBA stages
