Energy Confirmations Coordinator

We are currently working with a leading Trading organisation who are looking to recruit a Contracts Coordinator for a 6 month interim role based in their offices in Central London.

The role will work to draft Energy trading contracts for sales and purchases.
– to work closely with several different departments within the trading floor.
– Draft and ensure timely dispatch of standard Counterparty Confirmations.
– Receive and reconcile Counterparty Confirmations.
– Reconcile Broker Recaps against the system of record to ensure accuracy.
– Chase outstanding and overdue Recaps and Confirmations to ensure receipt within contractual deadlines.
– Handling any other ad hoc Confirmation requirements, requests and queries as required.

The ideal candidate will have previous working knowledge of gas/power/emissions/derivatives and Confirmations in a trading environment. as well as the ability to absorb technical information quickly and apply the information effectively in practice
