2nd Line Support Engineer

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Engineer to join a leading public sector organisation. The successful candidate will be joining this organisation during an exciting period of technical and digital transformation.

You will become part of the digital services team and will play an essential part in their delivery via excellent technical support.

Key responsibilities:

• To provide 2nd line technical support in relation to Desktop, Network, Telecommunications, Infrastructure, 365 and Cloud technology to all service users
• Provide an escalation path to the Service Desk 1st line team for resolving incidents and fulfilling service/change requests
• To work directly with service management
• Responsible for EUC build images, support, and updates
• Provide onsite EUC technical support to service users
• Provide initial diagnostics and support of Microsoft 365 and Cloud issues
• Provide initial diagnostics and support of Citrix and Virtual Platform issues
• Provide administration support of a Citrix environment
