Accounts Payable Manager – FTC

Signature Recruitment are currently recruiting for an permanent Accounts Payable Manager / Purchase Ledger Manager that will lead and manage a team of two. As the Accounts Payable Manager / Purchase Ledger Manager you will have; experience in working in a complex invoicing environment, the ability to build strong relationships with key suppliers, alongside reviewing current processes, ensuring best practice is implemented and followed.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager / Purchase Ledger Manager, with proven experience of working in a complex invoicing organisation, managing and developing a team and the ability to see the bigger picture.

The Accounts Payable Manager / Purchase Ledger Manager will be responsible for:

• Working with the Group Financial Controller to establish best practice operations and efficient AP procedures

• Leading, developing and managing the AP team on a day to day basis

• Working closely with suppliers to revolve queries and ensure that there is a transparent line of communication

The ideal Accounts Payable Manager / Purchase Ledger Manager will have:

• Excellent communication skills – the ability to work confidently with senior clients both internal and external

• Good time and people management skills

• Proven experience of working in a complex organisation

• Experience of Sage 200 (advantageous)

• Approachable, friendly and professional manner

• Sales Ledger exposure would also be an advantage

• Proven experience of resolving invoice queries
