Steelwork Draughtsman

Salary: £36,000 – £54,000 per year

On behalf of our client, we seek a Tekla Draughtsman with structural steelwork experience to join this well-established and respected construction company based in Cambridgeshire. Draughtsman role / duties include:

• Working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD models for a range of steelwork projects.

• Create detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings.

• Liaise with internal colleagues and relevant external companies such as Architects and engineers.

• Generate and chase as required technical queries/RFI’s.

Draughtsman requirements:

• Experience using Tekla structures software required.

• Solid experience in detailing structural or secondary steelwork is required.

• Good time keeping.
