Steelwork Draughtsman

Salary: £40,800 – £50,400 per year

This an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and successful steelwork fabrication company who design, fabricate, and supply a wide range of steelwork projects for the construction sector (both structural and architectural steel). On offer is a very attractive salary and excellent company benefits. Based in Shropshire, local to Oswestry.

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years solid experience detailing a range of steelwork projects, such as portal frames, beam and stick and the more Architectural steelwork – stairs, balconies and such.

Coming from a steelwork fabrication / engineering background, candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience detailing steelwork using either AutoCAD or Tekla Structures Software. Experience using Tekla is preferred; however AutoCAD users are most welcome if they have the steel detailing background, as full Tekla training can be provided for top candidates.
