Deputy Home Manager

Salary: £15 – £15.6 per hour

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Carer looking for the next step? Our client is looking for a Deputy Manager for its home where the residents live in comfortable and homely surroundings that provides stimulation and encourages independency where appropriate.

The Deputy Manager will assist the Registered Manager with delivering high standards of care in accordance with their policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements. You will assist in managing a team of staff, developing best practice, leading by example and supporting further development of Person-Centred care.

The Deputy Manager will ensure efficient and effective day to day running of the Care Home, alongside the Registered Manager, developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones, assist in managing all relevant staff and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders.

*Required Qualifications and Skills: -*

Knowledge of Care Quality Commission (CQC) Guidelines

Either extensive Senior Carer experience within a residential home or preferably, deputy management experience

Proven experience in leading and motivating a team

Create and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Meet or exceed the standards required by CQC so that the home can achieve the highest ratings possible.

Good time management and ability to prioritise is essential

Knowledge of IT is preferable
