Assistant Service Manager – Coleman Stairs, Birchington
£29,104.8 + £1200 complexity enhancement per annum

The service is a supported living service based in Birchington, Kent which supports 3 brothers who have learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge.
On successful completion of your probationary period you will be considered to undertake a Health and Social Care Level 5 Diploma at no cost to yourself. This will assist you in career progression within Avenues.
The role will include working alongside the Service Manager in the day to day running of the service as well as management and coordination of support hours, rota’s, assisting with recruitment of new staff, management of staff, shift leading, maintaining records as well as day to day support including personal care, cooking, cleaning and administering medication.
Leading and inspiring your team in the implementation of the business plan and other strategic objectives you will ensure that your service develops sustainably, maintaining our commitment to the Avenues mission, vision and values.
About you;
- Have experience managing small to medium staff teams within social care
- Strong experience of supporting people with behaviours that challenge and learning disabilities
- Good organisational skills and time management
- Passionate and driven about providing the best support to others
- Ideally hold a full valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Be flexible to work across a 7 day rota completing shifts when required (early shift, late shift and nights)
