Salary: £120,000 – £132,000 per year

My client, a multi disciplined Construction Consultancy based close to Central London are currently seeking a Director of Project Management to come on board and become an integral part of their team. The role will involve the delivery of a Major London mixed use development (build to rent). The scheme is 1500 units ranging from stage 1-3 in design. They are looking for someone to lead this project with the target to get first blocks onsite within 12 months.

The Director role consists of supporting a company unit through a combination of excellent financial, people and account management skills together with solid technical ability. Typically, responsible for overseeing a team, supporting Group Directors with strategy implementation, and managing high value projects.

The role will suit a MRICS (or equivalent) chartered project management professional, who is experienced in both project delivery and acting in a leadership capacity. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Overall lead for the residential project management team

• Coordinating and leading a team of project managers

• Project delivery within the residential and mixed-use sector (developer/investor clients). 

• Managing exisiting client relationships

• Maximising cross sellling with internal teams such as cost managers

• Utilising your own network to develop new clients The successful candidate will be:

• Degree qualified in a property or construction related subject

• A chartered property/construction professional, ideally MRICS, MCIOB or similar • Experienced in a consultancy enviroment managing investor/developer residential projects from inception to completion

• Experienced in acting in a leadership role

• Experienced with setting and managing budgets

• Experienced in business development and have a strong network

• Have a track record of developing successful teams
