Graduate Electrical Engineer

Our client a leading manufacturing company are looking to recruit an innovative, ambitious and motivated Electrical Engineering Graduate with the desire to train and develop into a Design/ Harness Design Engineer.

Responsibilities

Design and develop electrical systems for new vehicle platforms in conjunction with their supply partners and our manufacturing facility
Producing detailed CAD drawings ranging from Saber schematics and bundle drawings through to ProE drawings
Utilise an array of design analysis tools including FMEA and Six Sigma
Ensure a right first time approach is adhered to and project milestones achieved.Essential Requirements and Qualifications

A recent graduate qualified to degree level (IET approved) in an Electrical discipline (2:1 or above)
Be able to apply the knowledge you have learnt at university in a practical way within the work environment
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of schematic designs and serial data communications tools such as CAN
Experience of applying continuous improvement techniques
Must be able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving
Possess well-developed communication and inter-personal skills
Self-motivated, with drive and initiative
Multi-task efficiently and effectively
A Master’s engineering degree combined with experience of working within a heavy manufacturing industry or with suppliers to deliver tangible outcomes is desirable.
