Business Intelligence Analyst – BI

My client is a market leader within the Property Management and Regeneration field. They are looking to bring on a Business Intelligence Analyst ( BI ) to join their successful team for a 3 month (initial) contract on a competitive day rate.

Working out of fantastic new offices in the Bamber Bridge area, the Business Intelligence Analyst ( BI ) will be responsible for the support and administration of Business Intelligence software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This includes gathering requirements, and rolling out BI solutions to end users. The Business Intelligence Analyst ( BI ) will also be responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing.

On a daily basis the Business Intelligence Analyst ( BI ) will be responsible for:

-Design and build of ETL packages using SSIS.

-Creation and support of reports using SSRS and the deployment of these using SharePoint.

-Creation of dashboards using SharePoint.

-Development of documentation for data warehouse reports, covering all of the above.

As the Business Intelligence Analyst ( BI ) you should have experience of the following:

-Full life cycle experience of developing BI systems.

-Developing ETL packages using SSIS.

-Developing all ranges of reporting / dashboards using SQL Server 2012.

-Extensive experience in SQL Server 2012 – SSIS, SSRS, SQL queries, dashboards and stored procedures and dimensional modelling.

-Experience using the MS BI toolset with Oracle databases.
