Salary & Benefits: £42,000 – £48,000 – Car Allowance, Mobile and Laptop

The Opportunity:

My Client, have over 20 years of engineering experience within the packaging industry, they offer a 24 hour support function to their clients Worldwide and are currently enjoying continued growth. Due to this they are looking at bringing in an Installation Engineer to work alongside their current team.

The Role:

This is a good opportunity for an experienced engineer to join an established team with varied projects and benefits. You can be based anywhere in the UK although being close to an airport would be an advantage as you could be working anywhere in the World.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and repair of High-Speed Packaging Machines.

70% of your time will be based overseas, mainly within the EU but there could also be trips to America, the remaining 30% of your time will be spent within the UK

About You:

must have previous experience with the installation, commissioning and repair of high-speed automation, assembly and packaging machinery

You will be a multi skilled engineer that possesses a can-do attitude

You must be willing to travel throughout the World sometimes working for long periods of time away from home, at times this will also include weekends.

PLC Interrogation would be advantageous but isn’t essential

Excellent communication skills

You will be educated to HNC / HND level or equivalent in either mechanical or electrical discipline.
