We are currently seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join an extremely reputable, family-run SME based in Emersons Green. As an Installation Engineer you will be joining a company that service and install moving and handling equipment for the NHS, care homes, hospices and special schools.
To be successful in this role you will be need to be responsible, reliable, punctual and trustworthy and show initiative with a “can do” attitude to problem-solving. You will be required to regularly travel nationwide and frequently stay overnight to minimise travel time.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of an Installation Engineer:
- To carry out installation of equipment in accordance with company and installation procedures.
- To ensure they are fully conversant with products and local health and safety requirements/arrangements.
- To complete and submit all relevant documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
- To ensure work area is clean and tidy, disposal of part and chemicals is in line with site instructions and relevant documentation is fully completed.
- To maintain all tools, spares and equipment within their care in a safe working condition.
Requirements
- Knowledge of building and construction materials and plumbing
- Strong communication skills
- Good physical fitness level
- Experience of using all types of hand power tools
- Regular travel nationwide and overnight stays
- Experienced in following Health and Safety guidelines
Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am-5pm (45 hours per week)
