Salary: £30,000 – £54,000 per year
Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum 2yrs experience required to join this exciting and leading engineering firm. Requiring excellent CAD design skills in automotive, aerospace or similar industry. Joining a team of 3 other CAD engineers and working on some ground breaking new products this is a very exciting time for the business.
The CAD Designer will help provide an integrated solution to help develop innovative new products. With leading-edge design tools and technologies, the design engineer will help streamline and accelerate the product development process. Using predominately Siemens NX it would be preferable to have skills in this area.
Successful applicants must have the following skills and experience:
* Strong 3D CAD Design skills (NX highly advantageous)
* 2D drawing, 3D modelling and detailing
* Design for manufacture
* Electro-mechanical design
* Drafting and documentation
Ideally candidates will also possess some or all of the following:
* BEng, MEng, HND/HNC in mechanical design or similar relevant engineering discipline
* Background in full lifecycle design
* Use of visual analytics and validation
