CNC Setter / Operator

Salary: £15.6 – £18 per hour

Role: CNC Setter/Operator

Location: Coleshill

Shift time: 7pm tp 7am – Monday to Thursday

Pay Rate: £15.6 – £18 per hour

Mainstay Recruitment are currently seeking a CNC Setter on behalf of our longstanding client in the Coleshill area. Our client manufactures a wide range of metal and plastic products and have customers all over the world.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Able to set & operate CNC machines to produce metal components to tight tolerances with brass and stainless steel.
• Conversant with Mazak Mazatrol and Mitsubishi (M720) Controls.
• Citizen Miyano Fanuc control.
• Able to use a range of inspection and measuring equipment.
• Able to complete production documentation
• Quality control, working to ISO9001:2015.
• Actively participates in product & process improvement. Contributes to the training and development of others.
• Monitor component quality through periodic checking
• Able to use a forklift truck and pedestrian truck. (Training will be given).
• Understand process production documentation
• Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the turned parts department Supervisor.
• Ensure that your team Always maintain a high standard of housekeeping 5S by regularly cleaning the work areas, wiping down machines and keeping floors dry and clean.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential

• Good standard of English and Maths
• Knowledge of Health and safety practices
• Ability to document processes
• Ability to use measuring equipment
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Good communication skills
• Conversant with Mazatrol, Mitsubishi and Fanuc controls
