Salary: £26,000 per year
We are looking to recruit a CNC Lathe operator to work for one of our clients in the Preston area.
You will be expected to set up and operate CNC turning machine to repair diamond cut alloy wheels.
The main tasks of the role are outlined below
– Set up tools and load road wheels onto CNC machine.
– Carry out machining of wheels.
Experience/Knowledge
– Be proficient at set up, operation and adjustment of tool and fixture offsets on CNC machine tools as well as conventional centre lathes would be preferred.
– Experience of working to tight tolerances.
Hours of work will initially be 8:30- 5:00 Monday to Friday however this is subject to change as the department grows. Basic Contractual Hours will be 40.
Salary is £26,000per year plus bonuses.
