CNC Setter / Operator

A great opportunity has arisen with our Wigston based client for a CNC Machine Tool Setter/Operator.

They specialise in parts for the undersea cabling.

This position is initially offered on a two month contract but there is strong possibility that the role will become a permanent role with the client depending upon the progress that the candidate makes.

The right candidates will:

• Be able to set and operate a Milling machining centre
• Inspect own work
• Have an understanding of programming a CNC machine
• Keep work place in a safe, clean and tidy condition

Ideally setting experience will be require, but candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate a strong understanding of the setting process.

Hours of Work
7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (30 minute lunch)

8am to 12noon Friday

Salary:, depending upon level of experience is c £26,000per year.
