Production Planner

Expleo currently have an opportunity for a Production Planner to support the Production department of our client, a manufacturer who specialises in producing world-class protection systems. Based at their site in West Sussex, the successful candidate will primarily support the creation of the Master Planning Schedule and the implementation of continuous process/product improvement activities.
The Role
* Ensure BOM’s accurately reflect current requirements and change requests are delivered.
* Support the projects demand by understanding build slots and imputing on the Master Planning Schedule and adjusting accordingly to suit production.
* Working with the Materials Controllers, the Production Manager to support the Master Planning Schedule.
* Raise and adjust Production Work Orders
Experience & Knowledge
* Relevant production/ manufacturing background ideally educated to an HNC.
* Experience of SAP / MRP Systems preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficient in the knowledge of BOM’s and production schedules.
* Ability to work within supply chain and planning.
* Ability to work with a technical and skill-diverse team.
* Experience of production support and operations within automotive manufacturing.
