CAD Technician

Salary: £26,400 – £36,000 per year

CAD Technician, Hull, £22,000 – £30,000 depending on experience.

Arlington Moore is working exclusively for a hugely successful, well established design to manufacture engineering company based in Hull who have an enviable global client base. Due to ongoing expansion and further contracts they are looking to recruit a CAD Technician for their busy engineering and projects team.

We are looking for either a CAD Technician, CAD Engineer, Draughtsperson or an Engineering Graduate who is looking for a career in engineering design and installation. We would welcome applications from candidates working in engineering design to manufacture already, or portable / modular buildings or caravan manufacturing. The industry we are working with is not caravan manufacturing but the skill set for CAD Designers or CAD Technicians would easily lend themselves to our clients industry.

Reporting to the Project Manager The CAD Technician will be responsible for the following;

* Producing CAD drawings according to customer specifications using 2D AutoCAD

* Updating manufacturing CAD drawings and supporting data

* Producing layout drawings

* Assisting the Project Manager with areas such as cost, material selection and design.

* Assisting with bill of materials producing parts lists

Successful candidates should have the following;

* Experience of using AutoCAD 2D

* Experience of design to manufacture desirable although recent engineering graduates or engineering college leavers with limited work experience would be considered
