Entry Level Data Scientist

FTSE100 Globally known client seeking entry level Data Scientists (3) to join an expanding team and help shape the future of the division.

Role Description:

Entry level data analyst role in support of a consultancy.
Provide data driven analysis via statistical, quantitative, programmatic and heuristic methods. Relate statistical and other analytical results to real world problems and explain the results to non-technical clients and colleagues.
Heavy use of SQL programming and/or statistical packages.
Comfortable with coding to solve data analysis problems
Analyse, understand, clean, integrate and process complex data.
Execute and deliver standard analytics services efficiently and consistently.
Be proactive, creative and inventive to solve problems to enhance existing and develop new analytics related products and services.Candidate Profile:

Recent graduate / somebody with 1 -2 years experience.

Numerate degree such as:

Computer science, data analytics, AI, pattern recognition
Physical sciences
Economics or finance (with significant exposure to quantitative analytics)Msc or PhD a big bonus.

Likes to solve problems, independent and not fazed by challenging tasks.

Skills / Experience:

Essential:

Experience or training in SQL programming essential.
Numerate with demonstrable knowledge of data analytics.
Experience (including programming) with any of the major statistical or analytical packages such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS, etc.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good problem solving skills.
