Hospital Waste Manager

Hospital Waste Manager-London- £36.000

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, experienced candidate who can provide the operational waste management, waste technical guidance and porter management to one of our clients who looks after a large hospital in London.

You must be a team player, be flexible and creative, lateral thinker and has an ability to generate solutions, liaise with the client to identify, develop and implement service improvements
The right candidate must provide the operational support and technical guidance to enable the Hospital to comply with national waste regulations and management policy.
You must have knowledge of porter and waste services in hospitals and the operational challenges/opportunities faced on a daily basis.

We are looking for a manager that can influence and educate staff and service providers in regards to their waste management responsibilities.
You must be good in reduce waste arising and related costs, and increase opportunities to re-use and recycle throughout the site.

Knowledge and qualifications:
*Working knowledge of waste legislation
*Specialist knowledge of Healthcare waste management
*Experience of effective management of budgets
*Experience working in the NHS in relevant fields or in a post related to waste management in large and complex organisations
