Salary: £26,000 per year

Warehouse Supervisor – Permanent – Shrewsbury

L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful business in Shrewsbury for a new Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor. Working on a day shift, Monday – Friday, this permanent position will suit an experienced Logistics Supervisor / Logistics Co-ordinator / Warehouse Supervisor / Stock Controller who is looking for a new opportunity within a successful business and wants to develop their skills whilst working in a supportive environment.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

* Planning the Logistics Team workflow

* Mange the Goods In & Out procedures

* Inventory Management

* Support production department

* Stock counts

* Set, monitor and report on team KPIs

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have experience in a similar role.

You’ll be IT literate, have good management skills and experience running efficient, warehousing / logistics teams, ideally in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with LEAN manufacturing is ideal, as is a good understanding of ISO9001. This is a hands on, warehouse-based role so you must also be physically fit.

The Shrewsbury site is commutable from Telford, Bridgnorth, Newport, Shifnal, Market Drayton, Oswestry, Newtown, Welshpool etc
