Our Civils & Heavy Plant team are a leading supplier of skilled labour to some of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects.
Our Civils team are currently recruiting for 6x Blue CSCS Steel Fixers in the Newquay (Cornwall) area. Digs are provided if working away from home.
Job Details:
- Start date: Immediate Start
- Duration: Ongoing work (Up to a 2-year project)
- Location: near Newquay, Cornwall (TR8 postcode)
- Hours: 07:30-17:30 Monday-Friday (47.5hrs paid)
- Overtime: some Midweek O/T
- Weekends: usually every other Saturday (8hrs) + some Sundays (5hrs)
- Monday-Friday (first 10hrs/day): £22
- Monday-Friday (over 10hrs/day): 1.5x
- Weekends: 1.5x
- Accommodation: £26,000 per year Worked
- Duties: Working on a major highways project.
Essential requirements:
- Blue CSCS Card (NVQ – Formworking)
- Checkable work references
- Safety Critical Medical (we can organise this if not already held)
- Pass a drug/alcohol test
