Residential Support Worker

Due to our on-going success and our plans for continuous development, we are recruiting for Residential Support Workers to join our adult provisions based in Heckington, Sleaford.
This role is a working 38 hours per week on rolling rota on a shift basis; including early, late and weekend shifts.
About The Job:
Our Residential Support Workers provide consistent and reliable support to ensure the residents in our care are able to embrace opportunities. Our aim is to provide each individual with a safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led environment that empowers them to lead the service we are providing.
Our Residential Support Workers work in partnership with our residents to promote independence and individuality within the home setting alongside assisting them to integrate into the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing the behaviours of the residents
• Promote independence skills and encourage a high standard of personal hygiene for all residents.
• Contribute to the development of the residents with both practical and emotional support enabling them to participate in the planning and decision making of the home, e.g. domestic and housekeeping services, leisure activities etc.
• Assist residents in preparing meals on a daily basis in accordance with good health and hygiene standards.
• As a term of employment you may be required to comply with any additional duties or tasks as requested by the Home Manager.
Experience Skills & Qualifications
• Ideal candidates will have completed Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Experience of providing care and support to adults and young adults
• To have good oral and written communication skills
• Be computer literate
• Ideally have experience of working with adults with disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour
• Passion for providing the highest quality of care.
Remuneration Package
The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration package that will consist of a basic Salary: £26,000per year (38 hours per year) as well as comprehensive training and other company benefits such as; Pension, Life Assurance, Child Care Voucher Scheme and not to forget our Stunning Work Locations.
