IT Project Analyst

Salary: £522 per day

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Project Analyst to work with my client, a public sector organisation based in Bradford, on a contract basis.

The post-holder will work in IT Services, in the Planning and Finance team, and will work with customers to develop business requirements, analyse business problems, develop collaborative solutions and manage the full project delivery lifecycle and ensure the successful project implementation. They will develop innovative solutions to solve business problems and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies across the organisation while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities will include:

Work with customers and other IT teams to analyse business problems and identify appropriate solutions.
Develop comprehensive and effective business requirement documentation.
Manage the full project lifecycle to ensure successful project implementation.
Follow IT Services programme and project management methodology and standards.
Support the continuous development and enhancement of the service, and ensure that customer care and service excellence are established as core values.
Follow service management processes to ensure consistency and effectiveness of the service and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Use agreed IT service management tools to accurately capture data relating to ITIL processes.
Ensure service related documentation is accurate and relevant.
Collaborate with colleagues to identify and investigate problems in systems and services throughout the organisation.
Assist with the implementation of remedies and preventative measures.
Maintain an understanding of advances in the relevant technology environment and be able to deliver expert advice while looking at ways that new technology can be implemented to deliver service improvements.
Previous experience in a Project or PMO Analyst role, within IT, is essential as the successful applicant will be required to hit the ground running.

Previous public sector experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
