Salary: £57,600 per year
Fibre Project Manager – Maidenhead/London – £48,000 + Car allowance OR mileage expensed
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager for our expanding FTTH team in the UK. The candidate will lead the project team and act as the primary client interface. The role is initially based in our Maidenhead or Lewisham office and will involve travel to and from our client’s offices. They will be joining a very experienced team of talented individuals with expertise across a wide variety of engineering disciplines and proven success in delivering large scale projects.
The key responsibilities for the successful candidate will include:
* Ensure the project is delivered to best practice H&S standards
* Manage the delivery of the project from planning through to completion of detailed network designs
* Responsible for the P&L of the project and meeting project budgetary targets
* Ensure customers’ expectations are fulfilled & build confidence & trust
* Implementing reportable project performance indicators to ensure the project remains viable
* Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling and closing of the project
* Define & continually improve project processes
* Apply new technology in an innovative way to streamline delivery processes
* Establish, refine & evolve project tracking & reporting tools
* Project reporting to Client, and company Senior Management Team & Project Team
* Manage partners / suppliers and review performance

Qualifications
* Proven industry experience or 3rd Level degree with focus on engineering / telecoms
* PMP or Prince 2 or Project Management P.G Dip or Masters an advantage
* A broad knowledge and understanding of the various network architectures, emerging technologies and passive/active infrastructure as part of a FTTH network rollout
Experience
* 10 to 15 years in a similar customer facing role during FTTH network rollouts
* Excellent knowledge of FTTH Network Design, Consenting, Wayleaving & Build phases
