Our client provides businesses of all sizes foreign exchange and international payment solutions. They are a global organisation with an unrivalled product offering.
In this position you will be responsible for providing co-ordination, governance and subject matter expertise to key compliance and business initiatives affecting their business across the UK and Europe. You will ensure compliance requirements are fully and accurately captured in all new projects and initiatives including those related to new product, channel and country expansion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as point of contact for Compliance in new product, channel and country expansion initiatives.
- Ensure all Compliance stakeholders are made aware of such initiatives.
- Ensure compliance requirements are fully and accurately captured and dealt with.
- Perform and document risk assessments of new product, channel and country expansion initiatives.
- Ensure business requirements and specification documents are created when implementing new technical solutions.
- Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of key Compliance processes.
- Co-ordinate the capture and reporting of key management information for Compliance management, senior management and board reporting.
- Manage Compliance policy and procedure library.
- Ensure all documents are current and reflect business profile, current legislation and industry guidance.
- Produce Compliance documentation and data in support of the new business RFP and tender process.
- Manage Compliance risk register. Ensure all Compliance risks are fully captured and recorded.
- Undertake research in relation to the impact of new legislation, regulation and industry guidance.
- Co-ordinate activities relating to regulatory inspections and audits.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level, professional Compliance/regulatory qualification desirable
- 3 years proven compliance experience within regulated financial services business
- Proven experience of managing projects or project implementation required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate complex, technical information to non-technical people
- Ability to communicate at a senior management level
- Experience of handling regulatory/external audit and inspections desirable
- Foreign exchange or payments experience ideal but not essential but must have experience from a FCA regulated business. Fluent English,
