Our Approach
Major Recruitment offers 21 years of experience within multi-specialist recruitment. Over this period we have grown and developed 5 business models dedicated and tailored to Commercial, Energy, Industrial, Logistics and Technical recruitment support. We have grown organically and have 7 locations across the North of England, employing 52 permanent staff and we payroll 600 temporary workers each week. We are one of the most consistent and long standing specialist consultancies across the M62 corridor.
The nature of our growth means each location is integrated into its local region, offering expertise and current intelligence into their own specific market and geographical location. The Position
You will be employed as a Recruitment Consultant working within our Industrial Division. The overall Purpose of the Role is to provide a sales and service function to clients and candidates while ensuring that all systems within the branch are run effectively as possible.
Principle Responsibilities:
Communicate with all customers on a regular basis, ensuring that all aspects of our service are to their satisfaction, taking appropriate action as required.
Check that temps have arrived each day, replacing and/ or covering any shortfall or rise in temp requirements to maximize weekly profits.
Schedule interviews to maintain maximum applicants flow whilst managing your time to allow communication with client base and maintain sales
Build the loading sheets to a higher figure each day / week by specking out temps and communicating with clients to pre-empt or meet all requirements
Ensure that all personal sales targets are achieved, including calls and visits
Work closely with your clients to understand precisely their needs and deliver a service to exactly meet their requirements.
Maintain a positive relationship with temps.
Ensure all temps are paid on time and correctly.
Ensure all applicants are interviews thoroughly, leaving no doubt as to what is required by both parties.
Work within branch budgets for advertising whilst exploring the most cost effective methods of resource
Maintain administration levels to company standards.
Develop a client service plan to ensure all clients receive face-to-face exposure from the company
Reference check all applicants and where possible, turn the call into a sales call.
Communicate any relevant information to the sales team.
To work within the regulations set down for our industry and ensure all parliamentary acts are adhered to.
To perform additional tasks set, from time to time, by the SMT.
