Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 (OTE + £13,000)

Our client, an international publishing company, is looking for a multilingual Account Executive to join their Cambridge team. By joining this small team you will be a vital member to assist in managing their existing clients and growing and developing other opportunities. Our client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their innovative Cambridgeshire based team working in a very flexible and fun working environment. You will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and managing a pipeline with the opportunity to travel throughout the UK with companies expanding into emerging international markets.

You will be:
·Building and manage an active sales pipeline
·Follow up on incoming enquiries
·Presenting new product developments to prospective clients
·Keep ahead of developments in the market and communicate these internally where relevant
·Identify business leads from competitor journals, web-sites and other sources as appropriate
·Prospect new business leads by post, e-mail and telephone.
·Maintain and develop relationships with key accounts with face to face calls and meetings.
·Make targeted sales calls, both telephone and face to face, to sell against specific features or sponsorship opportunities.
·Maintain and develop a computerised customer and prospect database
·Attend career fairs and exhibitions etc as deemed appropriate to gain sales leads and make introductions.
·Monitor revenue performance for your key accounts and for your given territory on a regular basis

The ideal applicant will:
Be fluent in French
Sales experience both face-to-face and telephone communicator, able to communicate and motivate via written media.
Previous media sales experience would be an advantage.
Must have experience of face to face selling and client sales presentations and of working face to face with clients
Strong record of negotiation and relationship management
