Salary: £26,000 per year
My client, a well known public sector organisation, is currently seeking Disclosure cleared GIS Caseworkers on a full time, temporary basis for their Edinburgh office with an immediate start.
Ideally with a background in GIS or with a Geography degree and strong administration experience, the successful applicant must have the following:
– Excellent analytical skills
– Customer service experience
– Good oral and written communication skills
– Ability to deal confidently and effectively with a range of enquiries from various stakeholders
– Availability to start immediately
The duties will include, but not be limited to the following:
– Assisting in the maintenance and operation of the Field Identification System and helping process Land and Business Change Forms (LBCFs) sent in each year by clients who are providing notification of changes to the maps of their field boundaries
– Analysing data supplied on maps from a variety of sources and be able to identify requests which need further investigation
– Checking material provided by clients for completeness and contacting them to clarify details
– Working with a Geographical Information System (GIS) and the IACS claims system in order to accurately map the boundaries of fields
Due to the nature of the work, all applicants must hold a valid Disclosure Scotland certificate dated within the last 12 months.
