Salary: £27,600 – £30,000 per year
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Administrator to join a reputable Building, Construction and Maintenance Contractor near Leamington Spa.
Typical duties include:
– Responsible for the day to day general office procedures, arranging meetings and updating diaries.
– Scanning / formatting all documents and files electronically, issuing hard copies as required.
– Updating Health & Safety training logs, organising courses and monthly workshops.
– Set up new contracts, upkeep database (outlook) and assisting Site / Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors.
– Site Set Up’s, Signage, Certificates, IT, use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook 2013 etc.
– Document control, maintaining drawing registers and distribution of drawings as required.
– Operation and Maintenance Manuals, working alongside CDM co-ordinators, Architects, Engineers, Sub-contractors and Suppliers.
– CHAS Assessments.
– Log all relevant emails in Contract / Element / Date order.
– Ensure all filing systems are in place and up to date.
– Maintenance procedures, weekly testing, fire alarms and legionella, including fire drills twice a year, ensure electrical and mechanical certificates are in date etc, and liaise with tenants.
Ideal candidates:
– At least 2 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator within the Construction industry having completed the above duties.
– Have knowledge and understanding of Building, Construction and Maintenance sectors.
– Have high organisation skills, demonstrating the ability to work to deadlines, using their own initiative and multi-task where necessary.
– Have clear and concise communication with the ability to control the flow of information between all project interfaces.
– Have knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
