Fundraising Coordinator Charity

Salary: £30,000 per year

Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a Fundraising Coordinator for a well-known charity based near Woking. A competitive salary of £30,000pa is on offer as well as excellent benefits including 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and free parking.

The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills and enjoy building relationships with participants and partners. You will be confident and outgoing and enjoy supporting the charity to hold large scale, mass participant events. To fit in with the team you will have a friendly and personable approach be able to offer outstanding customer service. Your drive and energy will contribute to the team effort and a good sense of humour an positive approach will help you when up against deadlines around major event time. A background in charity, fundraising or events is advantageous but not essential.

The Charity Fundraiser Coordinator’s key responsibilities are:

* To support the Fundraising Manager in developing the fundraising for the charity

* Provide support and inspiration to participants and volunteers taking part in the charity’s fundraising challenges via telephone and email

* Resolve day to day queries about the running of online fundraising pages

* Provide advice and motivation and support to participants and following up on anyone facing difficulties and encourage them to meet fundtaising deadlines

* Thank fundraisers for their support via phone and email

* Work closely with PR, Marketing and Event staff to meet the Charity’s objectives and missions

* Take an active part in the main events and supporting all departments as you all pull together as a team in the run up to an event
