We are currently recruiting for a Fundraising Assistant to work 37.5 hours per week (full time) in Central London on a permanent contract.

About the role

This is an essential and exciting role within the High Value Relationships team, with good development potential. The team is responsible for raising significant funds from Major Donors, Trusts and Statutory bodies, including a special events function. Following this, you will support the implementation of the strategy for Sense and Sense International. You will be responsible for donor and prospect research in addition to co-ordinating and implementing a programme of communications with individuals and trusts. This will include writing and editing appeals and reports.

You will liaise with the Individual Giving and Data teams to ensure donor records are correctly coded and managed by the relevant team. You will also have some administrative and financial administration support responsibilities for MD and Trusts.

You have excellent communication skills, enabling you to build excellent relationships with people at all levels of seniority.

You will have proven experience of administrative skills, preferably within a charitable organisation. You bring a demonstrable high level of numeracy and literacy, and database skills – ideally Raisers’ Edge. We expect you to be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft packages.

Occasionally, you will be asked to travel and assist at events during evening and weekends.
