Salary: £26,000 per year

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fundraiser for a leading UK Charitable organisation. In this role you will be working near the beautiful resort town of Llandudno in a newly refurbished training and rehabilitation centre, assisting the Regional Fundraiser to maximise net income from regional fundraising events and activities.

In the job of Regional Fundraising Assistant you will be responsible for:

* Organising volunteer fundraisers (including member volunteers) during community activities and events, acting as the first point of contact, developing a network of local volunteers to carry out various roles
* Undertaking successful and profitable regional fundraising events and activities, and assisting with the promotion of such events and activities
* Providing administrative support for the Regional Fundraising portfolio in Llandudno, ensuring all fundraising activities comply with relevant legislation established by the Institute of Fundraising and the fundraising standards board
* Creating and maintaining accurate and up to date databases and record’s for every supporter, ensuring all database procedures are adhered to
* Proactively contacting and developing strong relationships with local groups, community organisations and individuals to persuade them to raise funds for the charity
* Developing relationships and working closely with the charities service delivery staff in the Llandudno area

To be successful in the Regional Fundraising Assistant Job you will need to have:

* Relevant experience of working as a Fundraiser, with knowledge of fundraising practice
* Relevant experience of setting up and developing new relationships with fundraisers, communicating with customers, supporters and third parties
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to motivate and influence
* Strong administrative skills including presentation, report writing, and data base management
* Good communication skills both written and verbal, with well-developed interpersonal and customer service skills
* The ability to prioritise and organise tasks efficiently
* Strong logistical planning skills
* Well-developed literacy and numeracy skills with the ability to maintain clear and legible documentation
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
* Current driving licence and access to their own vehicle

This is a permanent part time vacancy working 17.5 hours per year which will include evenings and weekends, offering a Salary: £26,000per year plus enhancement for working unsociable hours.
