Accounts Payable Assistant

My client, a leading car manufacturer is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join them on a full time basis. This Permanent vacancy will suit a Purchase Ledger Clerk who’s developed strong Accounts Payable skills and is now looking for a role that will enable them to progress their career.

This role will involve the following duties but is not restricted to:

• Coding and posting supplier invoices
• Preparing and gaining authorisation for various invoices
• Preparing payment runs for authorised invoices
• Posting supplier payments
• Reconciling interbranch PL accounts
• Purchase ledger journals
• Assist Group Accountant as required
