Johnson Controls Global WorkPlace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Technical Services Manager (Cross site Engineer) to join the team located in Stevenage. The successful candidate will provide a support service to facilitate the repair, maintenance, calibration and certification of laboratory instrumentation, within the clients group of companies.

Role Summary:

Liaise with staff with regards to the services required for the efficient installation, maintenance, moves and relocations and support of proposed items of instrumentation.
To install, service and maintain equipment. This may be by direct application of the engineers own expertise, or by efficient use of servicing contracts in conjunction with the administration team.
Liaise with visiting engineers responsible for commissioning or servicing equipment at client.
Use knowledge and experience in helping to ensure that a high standard of safety of equipment is maintained. Develop his knowledge and expertise so that those ramifications of new technologies are readily understood.
Offer comments, where asked, on engineering and scientific aspects of proposed equipment to be purchased by client.
Conform, when required, to individual service record documentation protocols that exist within the client company departments. Discuss all essential points arising from the above duties with the section leader or his deputy and to implement any mutually agreed suggestions from these discussions.
To assist in providing site coverage from the hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm for support to client scientific staff and for the safety of visiting engineers to client.
To accommodate all reasonable requests from management, such that continuity of support is given to client customers and client sites from both a business and operational perspective.

Experience Required:

Previous experience LIS back ground
cGxP Experience / Training
Pharmaceutical / Regulated working background Science/Engineering
Degree Electrical / Electronic/Science
