Salary: £26,267 – £28,705 per year

Job role: Health and Safety Coordinator 

Type: Permanent 

Hours: Monday to Friday 37 hours 

Location: Barnstaple (will be required to travel to sites)

Quartz Recruitment is working with their client to help find them a Health and Safety Coordinator. The role will be considered for candidates that are looking for either temporary or a straight permanent role. 

Health and Safety Coordinator – The Job

To coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the Health and Safety Management System and related policies 

To provide advice and guidance to Staff and Managers 

To undertake Risk Assessments 

Audit and Monitor Health and Safety compliance 

Weekly and monthly reports and reminders regards to compliance 

Health and Safety Coordinator – Main Duties 

Health and Safety 

Accident Reporting 

First Aid 

Fire Marshal

Risk Assessment 

Training 

Coshh

Pat Testing 

Ladder inspections 

Fork Lift Trucks 

Defibrillators 

Audit and Inspections 

Air Quality Testing 

Asbestos Register 

Health and Safety Coordinator – Experience Required 

Previous Experience of Working in Health and Safety

Experience in delivering training 

NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate in Health and Safety is desirable but not essential, the organisation will help put you through this.
