Planned Maintenance Engineer – Warden Call Engineer

Salary: £31,200 – £36,000 per year

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – WARDEN CALL / NURSE CALL/ DOOR ENTRY PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

LOCATION: Full UK driving licence needed. Warden Call Engineers required around the West Midlands area. You could be living in the West Midlands/East Midlands area and willing to travel. You may be searching for Warden Call Engineer jobs in Birmingham, Coventry, Walsall, Stafford, Worcester, Telford or surrounding areas.

SALARY: £31,200 – £36,000basic plus benefits, Company vehicle (inc private use/ door to door travel), Fuel Card, Laptop, Mobile Phone, Pension, Overnight Accommodation expenses shall be provided, plus on call allowance, plus overtime, ongoing training.

HOURS: Mon-fri 40 hr week. Plus an on call rota.

As an experienced Warden Call Engineer / Nurse Call Engineer, you will be meeting with customers on a day-day basis, working to deadlines and busy work schedules, upholding the relevant health and safety industry standards and codes of practice to the highest level.

Your daily duties will include:

* Routine servicing & corrective maintenance, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and PAT testing of warden call / nurse call / access control security systems.

* Diagnostic and breakdown repairing of electrical / electronic alarm systems/ warden call / nurse call systems.

* Fault finding and monitoring of electrical / electronic door entry systems/ warden / nurse call solutions.

You will receive excellent support in your role as Field Service Engineer / Warden Call Engineer. The in-house technical helpdesk team will gather an accurate description of the fault / repairs and arrange your appointments for you, so you can just focus on delivering the highest level of customer service, whilst representing the company in a professional manner.

With at least 2-3 years’ Electronic Engineering experience in a Field Servicing / Planned Maintenance environment, you will have a good understanding of electronic / electrical security communications, IP based Nurse Call / Warden Call Systems. You will possess a relevant qualification in the electronic/ electrical industry, have a sound technical ability in warden call, nurse call, access control, intercom systems, an accreditation with TyneTec / Tunstall, as well as the ability to work independently and problem solve.

As this is a client facing role, a good attitude and excellent communication skills are essential, along with the willingness and ability to travel the country with the occasional overnight stay and potentially available to participate in a standby call out rota.
