Project, Contracts Engineer

Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year

My client is a well established organisation who maintain and install industrial boilers. As part of their expansion, they are looking for an expert Engineer/Manager in Industrial Boilers or Steam Boilers and related pipework to join their team.

An exciting role which will involve going to customer sites, assessing suitable location for the boiler and associated pipework and seeing the project through from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities include:-

• Taking the initial call from the customer
• Visiting the client site to take measurements and understand the work required
• Using Word, Excel and their bespoke in house system to produce a quotation with technical specifications
• Once the customer is happy to go ahead, ordering parts both internally and externally, appointing subcontractors
• Project Management of each project
• Handover to client

This is a customer facing role for an experienced Industrial Boiler or Steam Boiler Contracts/ Manager/Engineer who will live within easy commuting distance of the West Midlands but be happy to go to site across the UK with the use of a pool car for work purposes.
