Maintenance Technician
* Newcastle upon Tyne
* £42,000 per annum
* Full Time, Permanent
* 39 Hours per week
* Monday to Friday – Day Shift/Back Shift/Night Shift
A large manufacturer with multiple international operations is on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician to join their skilled engineering department.
The successful candidate will have a heavy industrial background and hold responsibility for reactive and planned maintenance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Planned preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment
* General maintenance and installation
* Working with a range of large machine tools
* Other equipment includes extraction systems, overhead and cab driven cranes.
Knowledge and Experience:
* Time served in Mechanical Engineering
* Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing environment
This position would suit a Maintenance Fitter with a background in heavy industrial manufacturing. The successful candidate will enjoy an industry leading benefits package plus many other outstanding perks.
