IT Managed Services – Business Development Manager

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – IT MANAGED SERVICES (IT SERRVICES/HARDWARE/SOFTWARE) – BASIC: £45k – OTE £70-80+ Uncapped – BENEFITS: Car Allowance, Pension, Health and Life Assurance

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our IT Infrastructure Services client an experienced Business Development Manager to sell into the Corporate vertical in the North of England.

The role will be targeted to attain new business sales and also work with a set number of Key Accounts. The client is looking for someone to have a new business mentality whilst being able to effectively manage Key Accounts. The clients will range in size and complexity of services used. You will be able to utilise a number of technical specialists but importantly you must have a proven track record in IT Managed Services including Hardware and Software sales. This role is a business development management role so if you are looking for a pure account management role this isn’t the position for you.

Our client has a wide ranging portfolio that include IT Managed services, Datacentre, DR etc.

Experience Required:

3yrs+ direct sales experience with proven success
Experience of winning new business deals varying in complexity of services and value.
Experience of deal sizes in excess of 150k (and be able to demonstrate this with recent wins)
Demonstrable experience of selling IT Managed Services and Associated Hardware and Software.
Experience of selling into the Corporate vertical
Solution led sales person and have the ability to demonstrate this.
