Front End Technical Lead
Looking for a Cloud-first, Product approach to Front end solutions?
Have an idea of best practices and want to mentor future leaders?
Our E-com group are moving to a feature-based squad set up and are looking for a Front End Technical Lead to help create new solutions that will be rolled out across multiple products.
Looking after a squad, the position will comprise 50% hands-on development, 30% coaching mentoring and helping others and 20% looking at the tech longevity of the product roadmap.
The company has moved to a cloud-first approach, working closely with Amazon on AWS and are keen to remove legacy front ends to match the ingenious of their MicroService back ends.
We need people who can create the next generation of front ends with true Front end engineering at the heart of it.
If you have experience in the following areas, we’d like to speak to you!
* React / Redux
* Next.JS (Or other JavaScript libraries)
* FE Technologies such as CSS HTML SASS
* Understanding of DevOps environments – CI / CD Pipelines
* Best practices such as TDD / SOLID
It’s a truly empowering environment, we hate to say Fully remote as there could be the odd occasion each month they meet to solve a problem, but the plan is to be flexible to you. 1 day a month or 30 days a month in the office. It’s your choice.
The squads are growing and there is a clear career path to Senior leadership with mentoring provided.

Salaries between £60-80,000
